They certainly aren’t the sexiest upgrade out there, but magnetic drain plugs can be a wise investment. Now, there’s a new product available in Canada, from Dimple.
Ontario’s Milestone Motorsports are now the official Canadian importer of Dimple Drain plugs, but why, you ask, would you need a magnetic drain plug in the first place?
Well, install a magnetic drain plug in place of your OEM unit, and you’re going to catch any metallic crap that’s floating in your engine oil looking to do damage. And, Dimple says they’ve got the best magnetic drain plug on the market.
Are they telling the truth? Who knows? But they do supply drain plugs to the U.S. military, so you can bet their stuff is fairly high quality and they make the plugs for all sorts of weird machines, even Urals, so they should have your bike covered.
