Valentino Rossi is planning to leave MotoGP.

Of course, that shouldn’t come as a shock to anyone – nobody races MotoGP forever, and Rossi certainly isn’t planning to leave tomorrow. In fact, according to Visordown, Rossi says he figures he has a few years left on two wheels.

After that, though, it’s looking more and more as if Rossi’s racing future is headed towards four-wheeled ventures, especially after his second-place finish at the Monza Rally last weekend – you can watch the video below to see him having fun behind the wheel of a race-tuned Ford Fiesta.

In fact, Rossi looks like he’s having a lot more fun than he did this season on his tricky-to-ride Ducati. If Bologna doesn’t sort out their chassis issues, maybe we’ll see Rossi racing cages sooner rather than later.
