Britain’s Motorcycle News have posted a brief first impressions of the new Honda NC700X on their website.

They’re at the official world launch of the bike in Portugal but although tester Trevor Franklin likes the lowdown torque, he complains that it all comes to a stop at 6,500 rpm just when the party’s getting going.

Hmhhh, memories of Buell ….

Canadians will get there first view of the new NC700X at the upcoming Toronto Motorcycle Show where pricing should also be announced (in the UK they’re going for a lowly £5850, so they should be very affordable here).

  1. I hear this bike can get over 80 mpg?   Finally a motorcycle manufacturer has checked the price of gas and asked why a full size car with AC, four passengers and dozens of other features can get better gas mileage than a 500 pound bike with one rider.    If cars can get 50 mpg then why cant bikes get easily over 100 mpg?
