Kymco is showing off a new motorcycle at Milan – the K-Pipe 125.

While Kymco is best known for their scooter range, they’ve sold motorcycles as well, including the 150cc Quannon sport bike, and 250cc Venox cruiser. This new machine is pretty different from both those bikes, though.

The bike, known as the K-Pipe 125, is reportedly designed for younger riders, so Kymco made shifting easier by including a four-speed gearbox with an automatic clutch.

The engine is a 125cc air-cooled single-cylinder unit. The bike rolls on 17-inch wheels, and stops thanks to a drum brake in back and a disc brake in front.

  1. I will bet the engine is a version of a honda like the one fitted to the Mad Ass. Chances are $350.00 will retrofit a 146cc manual clutch or something like it to make the bike more useable.(read fun)

  2. 102 pounds? We sure that isn’t kg? 102kg is pretty light, 102 pounds is one third the curb weight of a CBR125. Fairings aren’t that heavy. The 4 speed semi-auto doesn’t interet me in the slightest, but I like the styling.

  3. Looks like a fun (if possibly slightly underpowered) urban assault unit. If the price is right, and we can get a few younger bums in the seats, its a win-win…
