KTM unveils 350cc 'Freeride'

KTM's new street-legal enduro should be a lightweight thriller, if their claimed numbers are correct.

Want a single-cylinder 350cc dual-sport that weighs 99 kgs and puts out 24 bhp? Of course you do!

At least, that’s what KTM is betting on. They’ve let us all have a sneak peek at one of their rumoured 350cc projects, a street-legal enduro named the Freeride.

The Freeride features fuel injection, liquid cooling, radial brakes, and a steel-and-aluminum frame. KTM has fitted WP suspension front and rear.

Like every other cool machine coming to market next year, the Freeride is supposed to be unveiled at the EICMA show in Milan. Sadly, the Europeans get first crack at it – it doesn’t look as if the machine will be sold in North America until 2013.
