Motorcycle book publisher Whitehorse has released a couple new books that may catch your fancy.

First off, they’ve just put out their Comprehensive Vintage Motorcycle Price Guide, 2011-2012 Edition. This book covers price data for motorcycle brands from around the globe, for models from 1901 to 1996.

The information comes from actual bike sales, and covers six different conditions, so whether you’re looking at a rat bike or an untouched jewel, you should be able to find what it’s worth.

The 222-page guide also features an overview telling you what vintage bikes are hot sellers right now, and how to grade your motorcycle. It sells for $15.95 and is available here.

Ghost towns, canyons, the Rockies - find the best motorcycling routes with Whitehorses's guide.

Whitehorse has also released another book that may be of more interest to travelers than anyone else. Should you find yourself with the chance to motor around the western U.S., you might want to grab yourself a copy of their Complete Guide to Motorcycling Colorado.

As the subtitle tells us, the book is “The Definitive Reference for ALL the Best Roads, Rides, and Tips.” Whitehorse has packed the book’s 448 pages with detailed descriptions of 172 different rides, ranging from half a day to several days. You can even combine different rides together.

The book features maps and photos to let you know what to expect along the way, including side-by-side comparison of vintage shots with modern, up-to-date images.

If you want to check out the state’s ghost towns or magnificent mountains, this book sounds like it’s worth checking out; it retails for $29.95 and is available here.
