If you’ve ever lusted after a Munch Mammoth, now is your chance to buy one.

Designed and built by German Friedl Munch, the Munch Mammoth was a forerunner of the Boss Hoss, or maybe Triumph’s Rocket III. They are rare and they are expensive, but there’s one for sale right now in Westport, Ontario. It’s listed on eBay here.

The seller says his bike comes with optional gauges not found on other Mammoths. Photo: eBay

The catch? The bike has a starting bid of $85,000 USD, and a Buy it Now price of $100,000 USD. There are seven days left in the auction, however, if you think you need a bit of extra time to scrape together the funds.

The bike, a 1971 model, is supposed to be in good running order, and even comes with some spare parts – although we doubt the owner will put the machine on the road.It only has 8,900 miles on it right now.

The seller says he’s the third owner, and his machine, one of the 1,200 cc versions of the Munch, was part of the late David Manthey’s collection. He will crate the bike and deliver it to the airport for shipping for free, if you’d like, and for our hordes of international readers, he says he’ll ship this bike anywhere.
