BMW is showing off their latest addition to the GS series, the G650 GS Sertão.
One of the criticisms leveled at BMW’s 650cc GS series over the years is that it supposedly isn’t as capable off-road as its Japanese counterparts – BMW themselves say the G 650 GS was built for ‘country roads and light off-road use.”

The Sertão addresses some of these concerns, with longer spring travel in the front and rear, and “tighter tuning.” We’re not quite sure what that means. The Sertão also has a 21-inch wire wheel up front, and a 17-inch wire wheel in back, as well as an aluminum engine guard.
The machine also comes with disengageable ABS, wraparound handguards, and a luggage rack; other optional accessories are available, including a taller seat, with a 900mm height, compared to 860mm stock height.
We don’t have Canadian pricing or release date yet.

Just a revised Dakar. The forks look like toothpicks. Not much new but the name.
