With its launch this morning in Italy, the wait is over for the Ducati Streetfighter 848.

Moto-journos are spending the day flogging Bologna’s new machine around city streets and the Autodromo Modena track, and we’ve finally got the word on pricing; Cycle Canada says Ducati’s hot new bike will sell for $13,995. It should arrive in February, 2012, and will be available in red, yellow, and black.

There's not much new with the 2012 CBR600RR, except for paint scheme changes.

Honda has also just released details on a 2012 machine.

Visordown is reporting the 2012 CBR600RR is staying basically unchanged another year, except for some paint scheme variations. That means Honda’s repli-racer is the almost the exact same bike they’ve been putting out since 2006 – the only major change since then was the ABS option introduced three years ago.

  1. I think the current cbr 600 came out in 2007, no? The 03 and 04 are similar as are the 05 and 06. 2007 was the big new design with a major weight loss.
