Kawasaki may be downsizing their racing effort, but Jordan Szoke isn’t calling it quits.

Canada’s longtime Superbike champ, runner-up to Brett McCormick this season, won five of his seven Superbike championships, as well as four out of five Sportbike championships on a Kawasaki, but even with their factory team closing, he says he’s going to keep racing. As he puts it, “I am still young, fit and successful. This is my job, it’s what I do.”

Right now, he’s in talks with outside sponsors, seeing if he can raise the dough to stay aboard the Competition System ZX-10 next season, although he hasn’t ruled out the possibility of racing for another manufacturer, saying “We are open to any and all potential manufacturers and sponsors for 2012 to continue our program.”
