We’ve got some more belated coverage of the 2011 Mad Bastard Scooter Rally.
Head on over to MotorcycleUsa.com for Kanishka Sonnadara’s take on this year’s edition of the world’s maddest moto-gathering. Sonnadara completed this year’s circuit, minus the bonus loop, on a 50cc step-through, and seems suitably impressed by the lunacy of the whole affair.
Could this sort of coverage result in a greater international contingent showing up for the Mad Bastard? We’ve had riders from the U.S. before, but who knows – if the word keeps spreading, the Madness may soon take on an international flair!
Oh, and we almost forgot about another piece on moto123.com by Dustin A. Woods. Dustin completed the loop on an altogether saner KYMCO Xciting 500, but still managed to embrace the madness of it all.
If only there was a western Canada version of this…I would even go out and buy a scooter just to join in…but travelling from Alberta to Ontario might be a bit of a stretch…but it looks like such a blast!!
