Yesterday, we told you about Molly Nelson, a gutsy 47-year-old from Maine whose bike was stolen on her trip through Newfoundland to Labrador.
Nelson got her Yamaha TW200 back, but not her gear. At first, she thought this was going to ruin her trip, but locals are trying to change that, with donations of both money and equipment.
A group from RidetheRock.com put together a charity ride for Nelson pretty quickly, and raised some funds for her last night. The Telegram says other locals have also pitched in, offering free repairs if needed, a new rain suit, and even some moose meat and blueberry jam.
