Recall #: 2011258
Models Involved: 2009 Zero DS, 2009-2010 Zero S
Number of Vehicles: 44
Problem: On certain motorcycles, the front brake caliper bracket may experience permanent deformation when subjected to high braking loads. This could allow misalignment of the front brake pads with respect to the front brake rotor, reducing front braking efficiency and increasing stopping distances.
Correction: Dealers will replace the front brake caliper bracket with an updated version. The front brake pads will also be replaced and, if the front brake fluid shows signs of overheating, it will be replaced and the system flushed.

Recall #: 2011269
Models Involved: 2011 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R, Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R ABS

Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, repair or replace, and reposition the main wiring harness.
