If you’re living around Duncan, B.C., and you’ve got nothing to do today, why not go for a ride with Charley Boorman?

Instead of enjoying life on a sandy beach somewhere, Boorman’s been spending his summer riding across Canada, for a television documentary series titled Extreme Frontiers Canada (we bet it’ll be dubbed ‘The Cold Way Around’ fairly quickly).

Boorman hasn’t just been riding across the country though – he’s gone mountain climbing, trained with the RCMP, learned to ride a rodeo bull, gone to the Arctic, and had all sorts of other adventures. But it’s all winding down now, with a motorcycle convoy ride starting at Kickstart, 1063 Canada Ave. in Duncan, B.C., at 9 a.m., and heading through Chemainus, Ladysmith, Nanaimo, Port Alberni, and ending in Tofino.

Charley’s team of Russ Malkin, Mungo, and Nat will be along for the ride, and a bunch of riders from the U.S., as far away as California, are expected to show up – the ride shouldn’t be hard to miss. If you want more details about the ride, keep an eye on Boorman’s Twitter account (@charleyboorman.).

The Extreme Frontiers Canada mini-series is scheduled to run early in 2012.
