New bike show for YouTube

Putting a professionally-done, half-hour-long motorcycle show on YouTube? Brilliant!

There’s a new 30-minute motorcycle show coming out next month, and you don’t even have to sign up for cable or satellite to watch the broadcasts.

The program, titled The Moto Show, a round table discussion of motorcycle racing news and entertainment, will be hosted by former world supercross champ Jim Holley, along with Cycle News editor Paul Carruthers and motorsports announcer Laurette Nicoll. It’ll feature both dirt and street bike news, with in-studio guests, product reviews, and event updates.

The most interesting thing about the show, though, is that it’s going to be broadcast on YouTube. Pipeline Digitial Media, the company behind The Motocross Files and Epic Ride, say this move will let them access viewers around the world. Even better, we like the fact that we don’t have to subscribe to a load of channels we don’t want, just so we can watch the show every week.
