Women riders, make sure your bikes are de-winterized by Friday, May 6th; it’s International Female Ride Day.
The premise is simple: if you’re a woman and you ride, make sure you use your bike (or borrow one if yours is in the shop) to ride to work, school, or just go for a ride on that day (feel free to ride on any other day the weather permits, too).
The global event, founded in 2007 by MOTORESS director and founder Vicky Gray, is said to take place in more than 14 countries this year. It’s designed to emphasize that women are a growing segment of the motorcycle market.
