Dakar competitor Patrick Trahan is embarking on a circumnavigational tour of Africa to raise funds for the Children’s Wish Foundation.
His goal is to raise $25,000 for the charity, while attempting to
circumnavigate Africa in 60 days, which would be a world record.
Trahan
was the only Canadian of the five entered in the 2010 edition of the
Dakar rally to finish, so he’s certainly got what it takes to complete
his journey.
