More Fly and Ride with HD

One thing we know at CMG is that there’s nothing better than riding the hell out of someone else’s bike.

Harley-Davidson has announced 11 Canadian dealers are joining their expanded Fly and Ride motorcycle rental program.

The program is growing from from 37 to over 300 dealers, allowing riders to rent a Harley almost anywhere in the world, which now also includes Vancouver, Calgary, Red Deer County, Toronto, London, Kingston, Sudbury, Ottawa, Nepean, or Saint John.

Riders’ selections have also grown and range from simple Sportsters to Tri-Glide Ultra Classics, and come with a Harley helmet and rain gear for the duration of the rental. Participating dealerships also offer free short-term luggage storage, just in case the urge to hit the open road hits you in the middle of a business trip or vacation and you need somewhere to keep the kids.

Same-day and one-day reservations are available, and many locations can be reserved 24/7 online. Joyriding teens are out of luck, though: Minimum age to rent a bike is 25 in Canada, and 21 at many locations outside Canada.

You can find more information on the rental program at www.hdrentals.com.

  1. One must expect to pay a premium to straddle the Motor Co. offerings just because!!Rentals also include a lesson of skowl 101. Rock On

  2. At $200 a day?! Geeez!! A few years ago I visited my daughter in the UK and rented a Suzuki Bandit for eight days for 250 pounds (about $425).

  3. bring yer thick wallet, its gona be spendie.. and the price includes a hardley-abelson head holder, ya rite.. I would rather walk than ride one of these paint-shakers..

  4. I wish more manufacturers would do this…a full day test ride would probably sell more bikes than the 20min loop with the salesman that you normally get…you can only get so much out of sitting on it in the show room and the short test ride, if they have a demo available…

    Later.
