Removable liner and adjustable cheek and temple pads for Arai’s Vector-2.

Arai introduces a redesigned version of its entry-level full-face helmet. The new Vector-2 has significant improvements over its predecessor, the Vector.

Among the changes are a wider eyeport, borrowed from the Corsair-V and RX-Q models, which offers 5 mm more peripheral vision per side, as well as redesigned vents for improved ventilation.

Internally the liner is now fully removable for easy washing, and the cheek and temple pads incorporate 5-mm peel-away layers so riders can custom fit the helmet without having to buy additional liner components.

The bottom opening is has also been enlarged without compromising strength or overall shell size and weight.

  1. That’s one ugly-ass paint job on the pictured helmet.

I have an Arai Profile GT. It’s one of the only helmets on the market that fits my noggin well. Damned expensive head I have. 🙂 It is very nicely finished, though.
