The Brutale 920 maintains MV Agusta’s reputation for designing sexy bikes.

Motovan, distributor of MV Agusta motorcycles in Canada, has released details of the new Brutale 920, which will be included in the 2011 lineup.

At $15,595, the somewhat affordable 920 can be considered MV Agusta’s entry-level machine, though its racy features are anything but entry level.

Its 921 cc inline four uses a radial-valve head with four poppers per cylinder and claims 129 hp.

The chassis incorporates a steel trellis frame with forged aluminum side plates, a design first used by MV Agusta on the F4 supersport.

A Marzocchi 50 mm inverted fork is fully adjustable, as is the single Sachs shock, the latter acting on a single-sided aluminum swingarm. Of course, supersport-spec radial Brembos provide the stopping power.

Also on the list of high-spec items is eight-way adjustable traction control. Delivery is expected sometime next summer.
