Young gun Brett McCormick will join Michael Ferreira on the BMW Motorrad Canada superbike team in the 2011 Parts Canada Superbike Championship.

McCormick returns to Canadian road racing after a season competing in the U.S. where he replaced injured Aaron Yates on the Michael Jordan Motorsports team. McCormick finished in ninth place in the 2010 AMA Superbike standings.

In 2009, his last full season racing in Canada, McCormick was the only rider to have threatened Jordan Szoke’s domination of the series, finishing in second place, just five points behind Szoke at season’s end.

There are no news yet as to what Francis Martin will do in 2011. Martin raced two seasons with BMW Motorrad Canada, competing in the Canadian Thunder series in 2009, and in Pro Superbike in 2010 where he finished third behind Andrew Nelson on a private BMW S1000RR and series champion Szoke.
