Edelweiss Bike Travel’s ultimate guided tour.
Motorcycle tour company Edelweiss Bike Travel has embarked on an epic expedition: a tour of the world.
The guided tour began on November 21st and will run for 248 days.
Riders from several countries will travel to six continents, visiting 27 countries and covering more than 64,000 km.
Requirements for participants were simple: they had to be good riders with some off-road experience, and had "nothing planned between November 21, 2010 and July 27, 2011" — and, of course, they paid the required admission price. Riders provided their own bikes, which had to be dual-sport or adventure-touring machines of more that 600 cc.
