CMG News Editor wanted

We’ll even throw in the typewriter …

We’re looking for a new news editor who will be in charge of the daily news updates on CMG. Of course you’ll need to be a proficient writer, dependable, able to get up early and right on the news and turn out a story quickly and accurately.

It’s a part time job from home (high speed internet connection required) that should consume on average about two hours a day. The ideal candidate should have a good knowledge of motorcycles and be the type that likes to keep up with the ins and outs of the industry.

Ideally (but not a deal breaker) the candidate should be located in eastern Canada (for the early time zones), hold a full motorcycle licence, have previous experience in the industry and be proficient in both English and French (though we’ll take just English if needs be).

We’d also be happy if you happen to be a good copy editor, can do the odd feature (including Friday Fudge) and have the useful knack of being able to edit a crap story into a golden one.

Does this sound like you???

If so, please contact us for more information. We’ll be conducting interviews as early as the start of December, so be sure to do so quickly.

Compensation will be hourly and to be determined based on prior experience and suitability.

Thanks for your interest. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

    Sounds like a snap job.
In the old daze you would have had to spring for the English Breakfast as well.
(OK just scrambled eggs – I couldn’t resist the embellishment)
