A goodbye kiss after Rossi’s last race with the Yamaha at Valencia.

The evolution of Yamaha Racing’s fabulous YZR-M1 MotoGP bike
is described in a video just released by Yamaha.

What began as a difficult and unsuccessful race bike was
turned into a podium queen by none other than Valentino Rossi over the course
of several years. The video release is timed to coincide with Rossi’s last race on the Yamaha bike at the Valencia MotoGP event on the weekend.

Standing amidst a stable of M1 models from over the years of
his tenure with the bike, Rossi himself describes the progress of Yamaha with
their premier racing class motorcycle.

  1. The word professional comes to mind after watching this video.Rossi combined with Jeremy Burgess,is a potent combination. Not to mention all the dedicated Yamaha engineers. Its one thing to be a master riding technician ,but combine that with peerless set up and development smarts and you can see why Ducati is walking around with big smiles.Rossi just has the extra something that’s hard to define but you know it when you see it. 🙂
