It’s a semi-naked RSV4 that’s been around for a while but gets an update for 2011, which includes the electronics of the new RSV4 Factory such as traction, launch and wheelie control, ABS and a quick shifter.
The motor has been detuned from 180 hp to 162 hp and the max torque drops down by 4 ft-lbs to 81 ft-lbs but hits 1,000 rpm further down the rev range.
The seating is more upright than the RSV4 and it has what appears to be a comfortable seat for you AND your passenger (whatever next?). Overall claimed dry weight is 197 kg (identical to the RSV4).
Thankfully the new Tuono will be coming to Canada but not until late 2011, though no word yet on pricing.
