Deeley Harley-Davidson has announced its racing plans for the 2010 season, which cover the premier Superbike and Sport Bike classes, as well as entries in the Sport Twins class.
B.C. native Darren James and Florida’s Dave Estok will be the lead riders, while Olivier Spilborghs of Victoria is returning. The team will be under the auspices of James’ Ruthless Racing, with lead sponsorship from Deeley Harley-Davidson and other sponsorship help from Dragon Eyewear, Ogio, Flexi-Glass, RMR Suspensions, Twist Conditioning, and Moto-International.
The team will run Buell 1125Rs in the Superbike and Sportbike classes, while an older Buell XB12R and new Harley-Davidson XR1200 will be the Sport Twin entries.
James will also be racing abroad, teaming up with former MotoGP rider Jeremy McWilliams to compete in the Harley-Davidson XR1200 Trophy race series at the British Superbike Championship. The pair’s XR1200s are provided by Warr’s Harley Davidson. The series debuts on May 1.
Deeley has a shitload of Buells in a warehouse. Needs to sell ’em to unsuspecting sportbike riders.
Almost like Deeley is giving a big F.U. to HD USA by racing Buells, which of course have been canned by H-D. Seems strange…
Imagine
Harley saves the day ..AGAIN !
any sign of crevier? anywhere?

We need the XR1200 class in Canada – maybe for 2011 ?
