Jordan Szoke returns to Honda for 2010 Superbike

Jordan Szoke will ride for Honda in the coming Superbike road racing season.

Szoke, who won the champsionship for Kawasaki last year, was not guaranteed a ride this year, and his future in racing seemed uncertain as economic uncertainty affected racing teams.

But he said in the Brantford Oxpositor newspaper that Honda Canada approached him with an offer that he liked.

"This will be a great challenge and we’re really looking forward to seeing what we can do," he said.

Szoke will also manage the team. He said he has hired the Fast Company team, which he worked with through 2002-2205, to work with him. Although a team manager usually is someone who has retired from racing, Szoke told the newspaper he is "nowhere near the end of my racing career."

Szoke’s wife will also race a Honda CBR600RR at the Canadian Nationals.
