Tremblay will trade green for a Honda shade of red.

Sebastien Tremblay, second to Cory Matechuk in the 2009 National Amateur 600 series with two wins in the chase, has teamed up with ProStar Motorsports for his Pro racing debut in 2010. ProStar, headed by long-time expert tuner Ben Gartner, will provide Honda CBR1000RR and CBR600RR machines for Tremblay.

The Longueuil, Que., native will compete for the HJC Pro Rookie of the Year Award in the Parts Canada Superbike championship, as well as contest RACE events and other regional events as the schedule allows.

Tremblay was allowed to race as a Pro in the last RACE event of 2009 and stunned observers by winning the Superbike race and finishing second in the 600 contest.

"With the economy as tough as it is right now putting any kind of race program together was going to be difficult," said Gartner. "If you look at all the big names without a ride at this time, we consider ourselves very lucky to have any kind of support.

"I believe we have a real shot at impressing a lot of people and getting some good results."

ProStar Motorsports has sponsorship from Orion Motorsports/Pirelli Tires, Bickle Racing, Fast Company, Wizo EDM Tool, Sports Center Café, Dan Kyle Racing and Blue Streak Racing.
