A documentary about the development of an electric race bike will be released by the producers of Faster, which starred MotoGP characters Valentino Rossi, John Hopkins, and others.
The appropriately-named Charge looks at the MotoCzysz race team of Portland, Oregon, as they conceive and build an electric motorcycle for the Isle of Man TTXGP, the world’s first all-electric motorcycle road race, held last June.
It’s narrated by Ewan McGregor and stars Michael Czysz, who explains some of the problems of making a race-worthy electric bike. Rossi makes an appearance, and there appear to be some nice clips of the Isle of Man race action.
