Throughout the worldwide economic turn-down, BMW has continued to enjoy success in selling motorcycles to Canadians, and the past year’s sales numbers emphasize that point.
BMW Motorrad Canada sold 1,830 motorcycles in 2009, four per cent more than in the previous year. The addition of the S1000RR and even the F800R to the brand’s line-up should help that sales increase to continue through 2010.
December was a bit of a downer for the German marque, however, with only 66 motorcycles sold, a 43 per cent drop from the same period last year.
