Parking is easy in Morocco
Rally competitor Don Hatton, who hails from British Columbia, has finished in fourth place in the Motorcycle Enduro Cup of the 2009 Shamrock Morocco Rally, which is considered a run-up to the Dakar.
Hatton faced a field of nine other entrants in the rally that took him through 2,000 kilometres of severe terrain, including large sand dunes and high heat.
He said later that he was happy with his finish but was somewhat held back by the KTM690 Enduro’s stock suspension.
He said suspension travel had been reduced by KTM in order to get a lower seat height. There’s more to read on this at destinationdakar.
