Hall of Fame numbers grow

Another group of recipients was inducted into the Canadian Motorcycle Hall of Fame last Saturday night, bringing the total membership to 44.

Inducted were Carl Bastedo, Bar Hodgson, Don McHugh, Duane McDaniels, John Williams, Ivor Lloyd, Ken Morgan, Jim Sehl, the Canadian Race Communications Association, and the Steel City Riders.

Jim Sehl was an outstanding dirt tracker, Don McHugh was also a dirt tracker and stunt rider, Carl Bastedo and Bar Hodgson have been industry mainstays for decades, Ken Morgan started the motorcycle training programs in Canada, John Williams was World Hillclimb Champion five times, while Ivor Lloyd and Duane McDaniels were outstanding road racers.

New this year was a category for Historical Members and inducted were Ron and Eve White, Bill Sharpless, Graham Oates and George Davis.
