Honda opens design site

Honda has opened a new "Design" website that offers,
according to company P.R., "deep insight into the concepts and philosophy
behind current and future product design."

The site is fairly simple, and offers first a somewhat
poetic page that describes overall design goals: "Creating new frames, and new
styling to present them."

The site goes a little deeper after that, exploring design
philosophies behind the "Gas power farm tractor Pianta" and the "V4 Concept"
for motorcycles that was introduced at the Cologne show in 2008.

Honda’s Design website does not appear to offer a graduate course on
design techniques, though it’s pretty enough. Perhaps it’s a graduate course on how to design a design website.
