MCN and Hell For Leather have shown images of a Ducati
Stradaperta doing some unexpected work on a motocross track.
The bike, which has been considered destined more as a road
bike with off-road appearance than a true off-road mount, was photographed
about two metres in the air.
Some motojournalists speculate that the photos are
intentional “spy” shots to drum up interest in the new bike, but that it won’t
be competing with real off-road motorcycles any time soon.
Think of it as Ducati’s answer to the Triumph Tiger.
