MMIC shows fund presentations

An "image enhancement" project funded by MMIC motorcycle shows was carried out by a Durham Regional Police officer earlier this year.

Cory Adams and his TEAM C.O.P.S. visited schools, track days, Racing Against Drugs in Whitby and Bowmanville, Ontario, and other facilities and events with a race-prepped motorcycle and a "ride safe" presentation.

Adams will continue to make presentations at high schools in Oshawa, Ontario, and will be at the MMIC Motorcycle Show in Toronto in December.

In 2010 he will continue to make education on safety a focus, and will visit more high schools. In his presentations he talks about many aspects of riding, including the dangers of street racing and impaired riding.

Some of the profits from MMIC motorcycle shows are put aside for projects that will improve motorcycling and ATVing in Canada.
