The longest day and two-thirds

An Elkart, Indiana, man had to be helped from his motorcycle on Saturday after spending 40 hours in the saddle.

Marcos Manzur had tried to reach the 40-hour-ride mark 20 years before, but only made it to 35 hours.

At midnight on Thursday he started at North End Cycle in Elkhart. At 4 p.m. Saturday, he was helped off the bike.

He did it to raise money for a local children’s hospital and a pet refuge, but also to show the rest of the country that even when times are tough, the people in Elkhart, Indiana, know how to party.

Manzur had lost his job a year earlier, but his ride proved that in Elkhart, they’re "fighters," he told a reporter. See film of the ride at breitbart.com.
