Zero X with new bodywork

Some new bodywork and an improved brake system have been installed on the Zero X, the electric off-road bike by Zero Motorcycles of California.

That makes the silent motocrosser a 2009.5 model. The Zero X comes with six-pot calipers front and rear and wears a nine-inch rotor in front. The company says the brake system is "more advanced," but doesn’t go into details.

The Zero motorcycles now also come with a two-year limited warranty, and two new warranty plans are available "for those who want increased coverage or the next big product upgrades."
