It’s moving day for Parker Bros. Powersports and they’re holding a sale to prove it.
The well-known Canadian dealer and originator of Joe Rocket gear moves today to a new address four blocks southeast of the place you’re familiar with on Dundas Street West.
The new address is 825 Kipling Avenue, in Toronto.
The old address, in case you want to go there and reminisce about the good ol’ days, is 5324 Dundas Street, also in Toronto.
Phones and even e-mail could be disrupted for a short time, but don’t worry, they’ll get it all running lickety-split. You can also visit the website at www.powersports.ca. If the phone’s working, you might also enjoy calling them at 416-234-5750.
Bruce Parker, the original co-owner of Parker Brothers Powersports started Joe Rocket about the same time they opened the Toronto store (originally from Windsor).
Eventually, the Joe Rocket gig got so big he sold out the retail operstion to Dave and Jill Grummett.
The rest, as they say, is history…
Can anyone elaborate on the comment “… originator of Joe Rocket gear …”? Did they create the Joe Rocket line? I read somewhere once that Joe Rocket was Canadian but I haven’t been able to verify it.
