Female Ride Day Friday

sm_ifrd_icon_09.jpg Friday is the third annual International Female Ride Day.

"This event is now a not to be missed day to celebrate the passion shared by enthusiasts not only from Canada but also from United States, Israel, Australia, France, Poland, Italy and more," says a press release issued by Motoress, the creator of IFRD.

"It’s really quite uncomplicated, to be part of the event because women are invited to simply be on their motorcycles or scooters on 1 May–just ride!" says Vicki Gray, campaign founder and director of the company.

There are no specific routes or activities organzied by the creator of IFRD, although some manufacturers or dealerships may sponsor local activities. For example, Trev Deeley Motorcycles in Vancouver will celebrate International Female Ride Day with a hosted ride at 7 p.m. Friday.
