Ladies, start your engines! It’s "For Women Only" with BMW Motorrad Canada this Saturday — in sunny Vancouver, anyway.
BMW is offering women-only test ride sessions on the new bikes at three locations across Canada, and it starts tomorrow in Vancouver.
Interested women should e-mail Trish McLaughlin at trish1000rr@hotmail.com right away to book a ride.
The BMW test ride program moves to Toronto on May 16 (Liz Jansen liz@trilliumtours.com ) and Montreal on June 20 (Stephanie Chagnon stephanie@teamtumbleweed.com ).
BMW wants women to experience the bikes and the line of clothing, both of which can be adjusted to fit women properly, according to the company’s PR statements.
Men don’t need to feel left out, because on Sunday, the Greater Vancouver Motorcycle Club will hold its third annual Spring Fun Ride and Social, and you’re invited, male, female, or undecided. Visit the GVMC website for info and sign-up.
