Streetfighter numbers out

sm_090325streetfighter.jpg Specs have been made public for Ducati’s new Streetfighter, the naked 1098 that comes in both standard and special-component S form.

The bike’s dry weight is 169 kg (373 lb) in standard trim, and two kg less in S form, which brings on lighter wheels and Ohlins rather than the usual Showa forks.

Power is stated at 155 hp and 85 lb-ft of torque, both rated at 9,500 rpm.

Both standard and S model are housed in the same steel trellis frame, and both ride on 190/55 ZR17 and 120/70 ZR17 Pirelli Diablo Corsa III rubber. Discs are 330 mm from side to side and are controlled by radially-mounted Brembo Monoblocs with four pistons and two pads.

As you might have expected, Ducati has whipped up a passel of carbon fibre accessories for their Streetfighter: race mufflers, undertank panels, swingarm guard, passenger seat cover, and more, as well as a slipper clutch, an electronic gear shifter, and a racing seat. Canadian MSRP is $17,995 for the Streetfighter and $22,495 for the Streetfighter S.
