An Australian who stole a motorcycle and then led police on a chase through Sydney at high speeds will not legally ride a motorcycle again for 20 years.
He’ll also spend a year in jail.
The 37-year-old pleaded guilty to eight offences on Oct. 15. He had been on parole for breaking and entering at the time of his arrest.
Police said he was under the influence of drugs and reached speeds of 124 mph during the chase.
He began serving his sentence on Nov. 30. Police have released a video which can be seen on YouTube.
