In the CMG road racing reports, we’ve mentioned some of the fast women in the Womens’ Cup series in Canada before, and we’ve also touched on the Moto ST endurance series in the U.S. now and then.

The two are combining this weekend coming (October 17-18), as an all-female team including two of Canada’s best distaff racers will be entering the Moto ST final, the 8 Hours of Daytona.

Quebecers Marie-Josee Boucher and Genevieve Lesieur will be joining Melissa Paris (wife of two-time AMA F-Extreme champion Josh Hayes) on a Vallely Racing Suzuki SV1000S.

Mary-Jo and Gigi are unquestionably the two fastest females in Canada right now; Boucher just completed her first year as a Pro racer in impressive style, carding  an unbelievable fourth in both the RACE 600 and Superbikes series, while Lesieur has an equally impressive fourth in the AM 600 rankings … she’ll likely be a Pro next year as well, and has been given that status provisionally so that she can enter the Moto ST event.
