Coming in early 2009
KTM has announced a new production 990 Supermoto R, due in "early" 2009, whatever that means.
The beastie uses KTM’s luvly big stonkin’ 999 cc V-twin LC8 motor, superb Brembo Monoblock brakes, and a seriously light weight the factory claims is less than 190 kg.
A smaller tank unit (well, you wouldn’t ride this thing too far anyway, would you?) is intended to improve the seating position, while the riding position itself is set into full attack mode via placement of bars and pegs.
