Bush gets his leathers

"How do you like my chopper, fellas?"

U.S. president George W. Bush was presented with a leather vest and honorary membership in Rolling Thunder on Sunday.

About 350,000 riders pulled up in front of the White House for the ceremony where Bush was welcomed into the fold by the quasi-military biker group’s
executive director Artie Muller.

Muller urged the president to improve veterans’ benefits, and reminded him that there are still people locked up in bamboo cages in Vietnam.

Hmhh, maybe he could send Rambo over to sort it all out …

  1. What do you think ‘Uncle Steve’ would do if 35000 riders showed up at 24 Sussex looking for support on an issue?

Things like insurance incentives, tax reductions due to the decreased impact on the roadways, and Support for other ‘green’ idea’s?

:grin :grin :grin :roll :roll :roll 😕 😕 😕

  2. This is the first time I wish a new rider crashed head first with no gear or helmet on a razor road into a lemon juice pool.
