BMW Alpine test ride

Is there a better way to test a BMW for a day?

German touring company
Muenchner Freiheit have started doing one-day test rides of BMW bikes from their extensive fleet!

The company usually just organizes motorcycle tours around the world, but from their headquarters in Munich, Germany, they have now added the option to take any model from their fleet of new BMWs out for a single day’s blast in the Alps as part of a guided tour.

It’s probably the best and most exhilarating way of having a good day’s test ride on the particular BMW that you’ve been drooling over, but just weren’t quite sure was THE bike for you.

Cost for the day is 99 euros, which includes the bike rental and tour guide (although you’ll have to find your way over to Munich first, of course). More information is available at muenchnerfreiheit.at, where there is now also an English language version, making life a little easier for most of us.

BTW, Muenchner Freiheit is the tour company that Editor ‘arris had a few days with in the Alps a few years back. You can read his story about that memorable experience here.

  1. Firstly, let me state that I have no connection with the following business, apart from being a satisfied customer 2 years running.
The Hotel Enzian in Landeck, Austria, is a biker hotel where you can hire most of the BMW range for €56 per day. It’s a 4* hotel with very good guided trips if you want to use them. http://www.hotel-enzian.com
