A new Ontario rally for the North Bay
area is scheduled to take place Aug. 9.
Like the Black Fly Rally that
it replaces, the Northern Exposure Rally is a 24-hour event, but
there is also a 12-hour mini-rally that starts at the same time, for
wussies who would rather sleep than ride.
The Northern Exposure starts at North Bay Cycle and ends
at the Best Western in North Bay. Rallymaster Mark Daub is now
accepting registrations, but the field will be limited to a maximum of 70 riders.
The Black Fly, a popular 24-hour run in
North Bay, was cancelled due to some administrative problems a few
years ago.
