CMI, importers of Chinese brand CF Moto, have announced that they will now also be importing the Peugeot brand.
Peugeot,
based in France, manufacture a huge line of scooters and smaller
motorcycles (and cars, but let’s not talk about them here).
Unfortunately, CMI will initially only be bringing in one model – the
Vivacity III, an air-cooled two stroke scooter of 50 cc. The Vivacity
III will retail for $3,200.00 but for the first year (2008) will only
be available in Quebec.
But fear thee not non-poutine munchers, the company plans to bring in a range of five Peugeot scooters (including the supercharged 125 cc Jetforce scooter and the 500 cc Satelis) in 2009, which will be available for the whole of Canada.
