Erik Buell will be there.

Erik Buell and
the world’s fastest woman will converge on the Toronto Convention
Centre for the 2008 MMIC Toronto Motorcycle Show on December 7-9.

Most of the major manufacturers will also be there, although Triumph will not be attending any shows in a corporate capacity again this year (though some of their bikes should be on display in their dealer booths).

Erik Buell, boss of the Buell
Motorcycle Company, will be at the Buell booth on
Saturday to answer your questions.Trillium Muir – who rode a modified
Hayabusa to more than 330 km/h in North Carolina recently – will also be at the show.

Trillium Muir too.

Women are a rapidly growing segment of
the Canadian motorcycling community, and to encourage more
participation by females, “She Rides Nite” will be hosted on
Friday, Dec. 7, with free admission for females throughout the
evening. Fashion shows, safety seminars, and celebrity interviews
will be featured too.

There’s a whole load of other things going on over the weekend
including riding seminars by Humber College and free rides for kids
courtesy of the Yamaha Riding Academy.

The show will be held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre – South
Hall,
in downtown Toronto. Cost is $15.00 for adults, $9.00 for kids (6 to 15) and free for the under sixes when accompanied by an adult … although if a 5 year old has the guts to go it alone, we personally think that they should at least get in for free.

The Toronto Motorcycle Show kicks off a
cross-Canada series of motorcycle shows by the MMIC. For more information, see
www.motorcycleshows.ca.
