You never want the vehicle with the beer (in this case the Land Rover) to get ahead of you otherwise if you get separated you may end up not only alone for the evening, but without beer as well! The cooler in the Landy is operated off a separate 12V battery, and beer was icy-cold, despite the +30 weather.
